Based in New Zealand, LetsPlay.Live is an esports media company that operates on a global level. Working closely with LPL team, assisting with business development across advertising/media agencies, marketing teams and business owners.
Team Fordzilla is Ford’s first ever esports team, building on its real-world racing heritage by competing at the highest level on the virtual racing stage. Launched at Gamescom 2019, Team Fordzilla is made up of five market teams: Germany, Spain, Italy, France and UK. Top players were recruited from across Europe at various key gaming events, with the Team Captains leading the process.
LPL helped Fordzilla produce a motor-sim tournament showcasing the best 40 drivers from the popular motor-sim esports title: Forza Motorsport 7. With a total of 5 live broadcasts across 10 hours of broadcasting, audience members will see the Top 40 racers drive around iconic global tracks in epic Ford cars until only the Top 10 drivers remain for the Grand Final.
Via my business development services for LPL and my business relationship with US-based Manhattan Digital, I helped get this very successful activation/broadcast to fruition.
