Business development and marketing

Client: IMD Group

Project: IMD Cloud - 'Initial Start Guide' - new client on-boarding

Date: 2018

IMD Group is a global technology business, working with ad & media agencies and post-production companies by transforming advertising workflow, automating processes and connecting everyone. Headquartered in London, which collects and distributes TV and online commercials, infomercials and electronic press kits to and from locations all over the world.

IMD Cloud is the world’s fastest, smartest, most cost-effective ad delivery service. One platform for all stakeholders, delivering commercials faster, easier and more cost-effectively than ever before. Quality checks in seconds and delivers to stations in minutes.

Working with IMD Cloud's New Zealand Country Manager & Director of Broadcast Technology, Michael Orton over a number of years, with both business development and implementation of new marketing tools and campaigns.

New client ‘Initial Start Guide’ development:

We also developed an Initial Startup Guide to make sure new clients have all the information they require when starting with IMD. Easy to digest and made with production staff and editors in mind. This includes links to IMD, features/benefits overview, industry specs, tutorial and a guide to best practices for deliveries to broadcasters. We look at every aspect to try and make the transition over to the IMD Cloud delivery system as smooth and painless as possible.

Based on my experience within the broadcast delivery sector, editors, producers, production and media managers were very keen to have an online tutorial (‘How to Place an Order’) that they could go back to if needed. So we developed one. Having this tutorial at the ready has proven to be an important part of making new clients more self-sufficient and confident with the online platform.
