Beam Global is renowned for innovation, product development and brand-building expertise. Aperol is owned by Gruppo Campari and is sold and marketed in NZ by Beam Global under its aperitivo Range – Campari, Aperol, Cinzano. With Aperol being the “hero” product of the range.
Aperol is a bitter orange liqueur that is the fastest-growing spirit in the world (outside of vodka). Produced in Italy in 1919, the secret recipe, made from a range of fruits and spices, has never been changed. Aperol is the same alcohol % as a standard bottle of wine and has been made famous by the cocktail the Aperol Spritz.
I was proud to work with Beam Global known for their innovation, product development and brand-building expertise. The marketing objective for this project was to showcase Aperol and Aperol Spritz as the hero of the Aperitivo range, presenting Kiwis with an additional option to the standard beer and wine usually chosen for events and occasions. I assisted with the Aperol launch to the industry with a trade presenter, POS and a full-page ad in DrinksBiz Magazine.
